Stand Cricket Club are hosting their Annual Ladies Day on 23 June raising money  for their chosen charity BootOutBreastCancer, and are proud to say the tickets sold out quickly.

We are also hosting a T20 game on the day with Hasslingden CC  as our opponents.

As 3 of our Ladies have recently been diagnosed and treated for Breast Cancer , with one of them having  been diagnosed using equipment purchased by BootOutBreastCancer, this charity is very close to our heart. We raised over £2,000 on Ladies Day last year with a total of £5,220 over the year.

We will be raising further money through our Annual Junior Day on 8th July as well as some of our Ladies completing the 5k run in Heaton Park on 15th July.

Our aim at Stand CC is not only to raise money but to raise awareness  in the benefits of early diagnosis and treatment of cancer, alongside the crucial research that is being carried out at the Patterson Centre at The Christies.

The charity has been asked to work with The  Christies to help fundraise for a new piece of equipment for the  Patterson Centre and we at Stand CC are proud to be part of this. Helping raise awareness and saving lives
