Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On 13th May Magnus, along with three team mates, will leave St Andrew's in Scotland to cycle the 500 miles to St Andrew's Club in Westminster in 5 days - a marathon challenge for four amateur cyclists.

Magnus is the youngest rider in the St Andrews to St Andrew’s peloton at a positively youthful 40. He is married to Clare and has a very energetic four year old, Harry to keep him busy. Magnus is a bit of a cycling nut and can be found at the weekends lapping Regent’s Park or doing the Richmond Park loop. By day he is employed as a spin doctor at Charles Stanley in London where he’s Head of Press & Public Relations. Magnus has never really shone at anything athletic, has never run a marathon or even had any inkling to and was always last in the school cross-country races so this trip is a massive undertaking. He’s trained hard all winter, commutes to work by bike and is looking forward to getting out on the open road.
