At St Andrew's we usually #makeadifference for the Poppy Appeal by selling poppies at school. Year 6 bring round a big box and children get to put their money in the box to get all sorts of poppy related items. 

This Remembrance Day, the Royal British Legion can't sell poppies the way they usually would because of Covid-19. That means they're going to have a lot less money to support serving and ex-serving Armed Forces personnel and their families. The support they give is even more vital than usual this year, with many elderly veterans experiencing hardship, loneliness and isolation due to the coronavirus pandemic. 

We know that we can come together to #makeadifference by contributing money to this online fundraiser instead of popping coins in the charity pot this year.
