StapleGun Wisdom Run

Brighton Marathon 2017 · 9 April 2017 ·
So my last set of challenges in 2015 raised funds for MacMillan. That challenge was motivated by loved ones suffering or being taken by cancer, my grandad Charlie was living with us at the time, he had battled bowel cancer and 7 days after my final challenge he sadly passed away. He was supported by MacMillan and The Wisdom Hospice in Rochester, Kent, helping him to remain at home where he wanted to be.
Just a smidgen under a year later and my partner Caroline sadly lost her grandad on 25th December 2016. He was diagnosed with cancer only 3 months previous.
He was footsteps away from where I sat with family as my own Granddad Cyril a few years earlier was also taken by cancer.
As such I am dedicating this page to raise funds for the THE FRIENDS OF THE WISDOM HOSPICE, to assist them in supporting others.
My challenge is to take on a Marathon, namely BRIGHTON on 9th April 2017. Which doesn't leave much room for training!
Thank you for taking the time to visit my page and any donations are greatly received and appreciated.
