Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On 25th March we will be holding a men's waxing event. Six lovely guys from Star Kickboxing have bravely volunteered to have body parts waxed to raise some money for a worthy cause. Every penny helps but they are all feeling rather nervous so give generously if you can!

Huge thanks to Paul Haworth, Gary Parker, Krzysztof Kubicki, Callum Crosier, Barry Symonds and Ben Osborn for stepping up to the challenge!

Spectators are welcome to attend and refreshments will be available. Some of the guys are happy for you to pay to pull off a strip yourself so come along!

We've chosen to split the funds raised between Cherished Memories and Muscular Dystrophy UK. The event is being arranged by Toni Charlick. Toni's son Adam is 12 and suffers from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. This is a progressive condition that will leave Adam wheelchair bound and means his life expectancy is mid-20s. Muscular Dystrophy UK are funding research into treatments and provide grants to families for vital equipment. Cherished Memories arrange extra special days out and events for families with children who are suffering from terminal or life limiting conditions. Please help us support these worthy causes.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

About the charity

Cherished Memories organises high- profile events and special days of family bonding for life-limited and disabled children from hospices in South East England. A recorded DVD of the day is sent onto the families, so they can look back on and remember with love and happiness.
