Porterbrook Three Peaks Challenge by Rail 2021 · 9 September 2021 to 11 September 2021 ·

Railway Children has a vision of a world in which no child is lost to the streets. Across the UK, India and Tanzania, our networks provide an opportunity for us to reach children who are alone and vulnerable before they come to serious harm. Together, we’re determined we’ll leave no child behind.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visiting our JustGiving page.

As a team, we all work in the rail industry and have been part of the brilliant station community in some shape of form. We are passionate about supporting the vulnerable people that travel on our network and through our stations. The railway children is a brilliant charity that supports vulnerable children and we want to raise as much money as possible to support them.

The challenge is to climb Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowden in 3 days using rail to travel between the mountains! Some people have estimated this is probably equivalent of three and a half marathons in quite difficult terrain, with very limited sleep, so it won’t be a walk I the park!
