As a well travelled individual I have seen the harm we have created.  

I am swimming the English Channel to raise awareness around plastic pollution and waste, and, marine eco system devastation. The Ocean Cleanup have created a technique with which the Pacific Garbage Patch will be no longer.

A total of 1.8 trillion plastic pieces were estimated to be floating in the patch – a plastic count that is equivalent to 250 pieces of debris for every human in the world.

All I ask is you make a donation of a £/$ and send the link to 10 others who feel similarly. If we come together as a collective we can turn the tide. My ambition to raise £500,000 is so small ,because it is only 500,000 amongst billions on the earth. Together we can make a difference. 

Swimming the Chamnel is no easy feat. It is 34km of some of the toughest deadliest water a man can swim. To be honest my body has crumbled so many times in training that it's ready to give in. My journey can't stop with the physical. Life's journey is directed from the mind. I am lucky to have awoken and had a mindset shift. A mindset that says anything is possible. A mindset that says i am worthy of an abundant life. A mindset that says the miracle of life is a gift and I will enjoy every second. I have dreamed to make an impact so great it will change the world forever. Now I am creating the mindset of that individual.

For somebody that has suffered from obesity, depression and a lack of self-worth since bankruptcy this feat or challenge is extraordinary. As with any challenge it is not how the onlooker perceives it but how the mindset is willing to tackle, challenge, shift, adapt and mould into the mindset of I can, and I will.
