St. Bartholomew’s Church is at the centre of our community. Used for
church and school services, weddings, funerals, plays and concerts, the church also attracts many visitors coming to admire the memorial window to the 405 Squadron RCAF. 
We have just finished paying for the results of the attempted
lead theft in 2016 and now our latest Quinquennial report has identified  urgent stonework and downpipe repairs which will cost around £35,000.  We have secured funding for half of this cost and are applying for more grants.
