Mencap wants a world where people with a learning disability gain an equal right to choice opportunity and respect. We believe that support for the families and carers of people with a learning disability is vital to achieving our vision

Story

Hello, I am Luke, a year 12 in St. Bede’s, and I have organised this rowing, cycling, and running initiative for Mencap. For those of you who don’t know, Mencap is a charity devoted to valuing and supporting people with learning disabilities, their families and carers. Their vision is a world where people with  learning disabilities are valued equally, listened to, and included. All proceeds of this initiative will go to Mencap and all donations will be greatly appreciated as this is very important matter to us in house. We have already raised and donated £800 to Mencap, and we would love to keep this momentum up and support such a well deserving charity and once again your donation will be greatly appreciated.
