Purple Month!
Campaign by Halton Haven Hospice (RCN 702654)
Our Go Purple campaign is back for 2021 and bigger than ever! For the month of June we are asking Halton to turn their fundraising purple, whilst raising much needed funds for Halton Haven Hospice.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit our school's JustGiving page for Halton Haven. This year the children will be taking part in a sponsored Rainbow Walk to raise as much money as possible for the Hospice. Please read their story below.

The last year has been tough financially at the Hospice. We've got a big hole in our funds and we're looking for help to raise the £1.25 million pounds that we need just to keep our doors open. We could of course try to explain what your support means to us but we would prefer to show what your support can mean to the families that need us:'The Hospice allowed us some 'normality' at a time when our world was upside down. We had takeaways, movie nights, (the odd G&T!)...being there we didn't have to be carers, we were Husband, Daughter, Son. We knew at home we could give her all our love but not the professional care that she needed. Thanks to the Hospice she had the best of both. I will be forever grateful to the place that managed to create happy memories during the saddest of times'Thank you for supporting Purple Month and helping us to continue providing the person-centred care that is needed for patients, families and friends at a time when they are most vulnerable.
