Sick Kids Save Point 2011, taking place 8am Saturday 8th - 8pm Sunday 9th October.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This October I will be taking part in the Sick Kids Save Point gaming marathon as I did last year. This time however I will be pushing myself a bit further by extending the 24hr marathon to 36hrs and throwing in some Kinect and Playstation Move gaming.

I have also promised not to play any World Of Warcraft as many found this boring :)

Live video streaming will be handled this year by Livestream, please tune in during the 36hr event - the live stream will feature PiP with me in the corner and the game I am playing showing as the main video. I'll have a wee chat window running too!

A schedule of events during the marathon can be found on my google spreadsheet - and I will try and mix it up with some excersice bike while playing multiplayer, maybe a few costume changes and of course the wearing of a cowboy hat during sessions of Red Dead Redemption. please feel free to suggest a game or theme, but be aware, I will not be playing Zumba Fitness!!

You can follow my progress on facebook, Google+ or via twitter (@TheWeeSteev) as I will be updating them all as I go along..

Please sponsor me directly through this page, or if you prefer donating with a simple text then you can do that too, just text the word GAME79 followed by the amount, for example £10, to the number 70070.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

- Cheers for the sponsor George, pushing me closer to my target. Hoping to beat last years amount raised... in fact as it's 36hrs I'll aim for £360.

- 10% towards my target already, Cheers Mark!

- 2nd sponsorship in from Tony G. Thanks mate, good luck with your 10k

- 1st sponsor for my 36hr session from Ben!
