The last time I ran a Marathon was The Piccadilly Manchester Marathon when I was in my prime? For years i've struggled with my weight and last year decided it was time to get healthy. I started cutting out all the rubbish I once ate and joined the gym - which was hard going but since have lost approximately 5 stone! I use to run years ago so started up again and have now built myself up to running 13 miles a session just for fun!!! So I thought now was the time to do the Manchester Marathon and re touch my youth! (In my head of course)! I met Debbie Dowie who inspired me as she told me of her quest and amazing fundraising efforts. It touched me and hence the Charity I am fundraising for is Boot out Breast Cancer.
