MTC have two teams entered in to the Edinburgh Marathon relay on Sunday 29 May 2022. We originally entered the event, pre-Covid, with the aim of raising money to help with the development of the facilities at Lewisvale Park for the benefit of the whole tennis community. 

With the funds for the new pavilion upgrade now in place, and the build start date hopefully imminent, we decided we would focus our fundraising efforts on a specific item for our new clubhouse. The club would like to purchase its own defibrillator and we’ll be running in the Marathon to raise funds towards this potentially life-saving piece of equipment. 

The cost of an automated defibrillator plus a secure box to house it in exceeds £1000, so we are hoping to raise at least half of this amount through this event.

Please donate and come to cheer us on. Musselburgh Tennis Club is open to members of the public to ‘pay and play’ as well as to members. Once you’ve experienced our fantastic tennis facilities and met our friendly people, you might want to join!
