Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

I am taking part in the "Veteran's Championship" swim across the River Tay from Newport to Broughty Ferry on Sunday 30th August 2009 to raise as much money as possible for the Dementia Services Development Trust which supports the Dementia Services Centre at Stirling University.  I am one of the Trustees.

Please give generously.  The money raised will support the development of better services for those suffering from Dementia and the education of people who care for people with dementia . Dementia affects 1 in 5 people over the age of 80 years.
