Categorically, this was Stephs idea, after attending an awards ceremony in support of the Motor Neurone Disease Association, where the Rob Burrows Leeds Marathon was announced! 

The next day, we signed up, feeling it was the least we could do to support such a worthy cause. 

Winter training in the ice, dark and minus temperatures will be a challenge, not to mention the hills on the actual route!
