Story
This January, I'm taking on the Healthier Ways in 21 Days challenge for Leonard Cheshire by cutting out caffeine for 21 Days and curbing my coffee addiction!
There can be a lot of pressure to reinvent yourself in the New Year but this is my opportunity to focus on small a change to my day to day life that supports disabled people to live their best lives.
To kick off my page, I have donated the amount I spent on tea and coffee in December and if you would consider donating the cost of a brew to my JustGiving page, your support would be greatly appreciated.
What does a donation mean for Leonard Cheshire?
£13 could help a disabled person to get out into the community, helping to prevent isolation and loneliness.
£28 could help fund a morning of practical support and assistance with everyday chores.
£45 could buy a large key keyboard, making it easier for someone with a visual disability or dexterity issues to type and become more employable by developing their digital skills.
£160 could pay for specialist voice recognition software, enabling someone to increase their independence by using online services with just their voice.
£250 could buy an assistive device such as a wheelchair or hearing aid for a disabled child in Africa or Asia so they can go to school and gain an education.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my page and for supporting Leonard Cheshire.
