Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

On the 14th January 2023, Steph and Mike will be attempting the Montane Spine Challenger - one of Britain's most brutal ultra endurance races. This is 108 miles from Edale to Hawes, following the well known and popular Pennine Way. They will have just 60hrs to complete the route, in the depths of winter, when daylight hours are reduced to 8hrs per day meaning they will be running the majority of the route in the dark, and probably also snow/wind/ice/rain and hopefully a little bit of sun :-)

Then, for part 2 of our fundraiser, we shall be tackling the lesser known but even more challenging 3 Peaks 3 Pots challenge - for this we will be combining a very popular round of the Yorkshire Three Peaks (24miles with 1,600m of ascent) with a descent of the deepest potholes under each hill - Pen-y-ghent Pot, King Pot and Meregill Hole - in one go, carrying all the equipment required as we run/shuffle/abseil/walk/crawl :-) This will take place in the Spring when conditions allow.

They will be raising money for the Cave Rescue Organisation based in Clapham, and Andys Man Club.
