Story
My husband and I welcomed our miracle twin boys - Hugo and Ralph Harding - on 1st Oct 2022, prematurely at 26 weeks gestation. The boys were born at just 590g and 925g, needing 90 days in hospital in neonatal intensive care.
Fortunately they are both at home now and are doing really well, keeping us on our toes!
We are incredibly grateful for the fantastic care the boys received and want to give something back to the charity SSNAP that supported our family through this time.
I will be running the Oxford Half Marathon in October with the hope of raising £2600 for SSNAP.
More about SSNAP:
SSNAP was founded in 1982 and has supported the Newborn Care Unit at the John Radcliffe Hospital ever since. The unit can care for up to 56 babies at any one time and is a Level 3 Centre, the most sick and premature babies from across the Thames Valley, are looked after here in Oxford. When newborns need specialist, often lifesaving, medical care at birth, it can be a traumatic time for parents. SSNAP are here to support families, fund equipment and enable research, we couldn't do this without the support of people who fundraise for us!
