the 2.6 challenge
Campaign by Marie Curie (RCN 207994 (England & Wales) and SC038731 (Scotland))
The 2.6 Challenge is a simple and fun way for everyone to do their bit to help save the UKs charities.

Story

Marie Curie has been hit very hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. In response to such a devastating loss of income, from hundreds of cancelled fundraising events and the closure of their charity shops, Marie Curie have launched an emergency appeal.

Marie Curie Nurses are working tirelessly, caring for terminally ill people in their homes. Last year Marie Curie provided care and support to over 1,600 people in Dorset.

As experts in providing end of life care in the community, Marie Curie can help, but only if it continues to raise the donations needed to fund its vital work.

To support our Marie Curie nursing team I'm doing my own 2.6 Challenge and will be roller skating 2.6 miles on the rough track outside my house. It might be a bumpy ride, but it's all for a very good cause.

You can take part too by donating to my challenge. Your donation will help support people living with a terminal illness across the UK, so thank you!
