Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My names Stephanie Taylor and I'm a 22 year old medical science student at the University of Nottingham and also a Macmilllan volunteer on the cancer support Nightinghale unit at The Royal Derby Hospital, which basically means in my spare time i help those who have a terminal illness to feel comfortable with their loved ones at a time thats mentally and physically draining. I've therefore witnessed first hand the amazing work Macmillan do for the sufferers of cancer and their families, and any donations make all the difference!
In the next few weeks ill be holding a Macmillan 'night in' with my friends, where we will be swapping our dancing shoes and night out on the town to a night in where we donate the money we'd spend on our night out to Macmillan support! Ill be making food, cakes and other things for my favourite people but wanted to set up an online donation for those who feel the cause is worthwhile to them also.
In the future id love to complete my career in medicine and science and focus on cancer research and new treatments for those in need! So in my last year of university which is now I'm trying to do all the fundraising and help I possibly can before starting my career!
