Well what a year! COVID-19, lockdowns, working from home, banana breads... but cancer treatments continue in pandemics. Now more than ever the Beatson is needed and needs cash and awareness.

Back in 2018 I was diagnosed with cancer and spent 3 months in a ward. The Beatson charity provided so much care and support for me. Complimentary therapies when I was in pain, personal trainers to get you moving and not sitting in bed all day. A comfortable place to go with family to grab a tea and not feel you've been in a ward for months at a time. A space to get your head shaved and try your new wig on for the very first time. 

They did so much for me, now I'd like to do something for them.

12th December is a virtual Santa Dash. I will be walking/jogging/scooting 5km. No easy journey for someone with fatigue but here goes!
