Yes, this is actually happening... On 6th July 2019, I, alongside approximately 30-40 other absolute fools, will be stepping MASSIVELY outside of my comfort zone and (literally) standing up in front of around 400 people and attempting to make at least some of them laugh.

I am undertaking 8 weeks' (16 hours') worth of training with a professional comedian who will hopefully prevent me from falling completely flat on my bum...

The event will be taking place at Bowlers Exhibition Centre in Trafford Park. I'm hoping that even some of you might come along to support/heckle/mock me forever more.

So, aside from being an absolute glutton for punishment, why am I doing this? I'm doing this to raise money for Cancer Research UK. 1 in 2 people will develop cancer in their lifetime. I have witnessed the effects on family and friends as, I'm sure, have you.
