Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge

A Trek to Remember · 25 September 2021 ·
On September the 25th I will be taking part in A Trek to Remember to raise money for the Eva Appeal.
I will be trekking the Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge, which is 24.5 miles long to be completed in less than 12 hours with over 1,700m of ascent...so it's guaranteed to be a tough one!
The Eva Appeal is a gynaecological cancer charity, funding research and raising awareness into the five gynaecological cancers – womb, ovarian, cervical, vulval and vaginal.
Every day in the UK 58 women are diagnosed with a gynaecological cancer and 21 will die. The Eve Appeal are determined to change this for the future of women everywhere. They work hard in the research of prevention and early detection of gynae cancers (the only national charity to specifically fund this) as they know this is where the biggest impact can be made.
There is a lot of shame and stigma surrounding women’s bodies and gynaecological cancers. The Eva Appeal want to break the taboos around gynae health so that women know their bodies and are comfortable talking about any changes, to encourage women to get the medical help they need, when they need it. Their social platforms are packed with tips and advice on what to do if you spot something unusual and what to keep your eye out for in the future!
Please help me to raise a little funding for this great charity and also give me that push I will need as I head up my 3rd and final peak by sponsoring!
Thank's so much, Steph. xxx
