100km in 24 hours for Louise Brignull

Thames Path Challenge 100K · 14 September 2013 to 15 September 2013 ·
You may or may not know that I sadly lost my friend Louise in September 2012 to SADS, she was only 21. So I have decided to walk 100km in 24 hours in her memory.
The walk is along the river Thames from Putney to Henley and you can see a map of the route here: http://www.thamespathchallenge.com/page.php?content_id=25&page_id=2
All the money raised will go directly to the charity SADS UK (http://www.sadsuk.org.uk) who not only offer support to friends and family who have lost a loved one, but campaign to help prevent the loss of life from Sudden Adult Death. They fund lifesaving equipment in communities, support research into the condition and campaign to raise awareness.
You may think I'm crazy for wanting to walk for 24 hours, but nobody deserves to lose someone special to them and I hope that we can all come together to help at least one family in a similar situation.
Even the smallest donations help: giving up £1 is the equivalent to a small bag of chips after a night out, £3 is a cheap pint and £10 is a takeaway. But if everybody gave up just one of these then SADS UK could really help people.
Miss you and love you Lou.
