1 in 600 children are born each year with half a functioning heart. Sadly, some of these children will not survive. I have the pleasure of knowing one family where a child was born with this condition and thankfully, she is growing up to live a full and happy life. The Charlie Ramsey Research Fund, set up in her name, supports research and equipment across the West Midlands, giving more children a fighting chance. I know personally that the family and the research fund will be incredibly grateful for your support.
