Story
In November 2010 we lost our Uncle Peter to cancer just after his 80th Birthday.
The four of us (his nieces and nephew-in-law) are taking part in the Macmillan Hatton Walk in his memory - he was always in our lives as a gentle giant, quietly spoken and kind.
Macmillan nurses were there for him and his family during his illness and they were supportive after his death – something that every cancer sufferer deserves. The support they gave enabled him to remain at home during his illness, something that made a tremendous difference to everyone.
We are walking as a family team and our mother, Sylvia is Peter's sister and, although she cannot walk the full distance she will join us, along with our father, Terry, to give us their support.
