Ready, Set, SNOW! I'm unleashing my inner elf to support people affected by dementia.

I am taking part in this years “Elf day” for the very first time, I LOVE being an elf as you all know so why not put it to a good cause. I’m roping in baby Niko who will also spend the day dressed as an elf, I am hoping to raise as much as I can for the Alzheimer’s Society as dementia is affecting so many people we love.

Everyone knows someone who has been affected by this disease, my lovely nan had early on set dementia before she passed away and I saw first hand how it can put challenges in front of people on a day to day basis as well as the family around them.

Having worked in the care sector I had training to become a “dementia friend”. I spent time with some lovely people and families suffering with dementia and I really want to use “elf day to raise as much money and awareness of such a saddening disease. 

2020 has been a tough year for all of us, lets do something positive and try to change the future for our loved ones.
