Footsteps for Africa is a UK based charity that strives to enable children in Kenya to reach their potential as individuals and in the community by helping them to become healthy, educated, self-sustaining and contributing members of their communities

Story

We have been supporting 'Footsteps for Africa' for a while and we have now decided to make a real effort in order to make a difference. Stephanie will be joining the annual voluntary 'Rafiki' program in July this year, where she will go to Kenya and participate in a range of activities which are aimed at giving children the opportunity to fulfill their potential. I am first on the waiting list and hopefully will be able to join her.

Stephanie will be running a total distance of 3 marathons (126km) in 3 months whilst studying for her GCSE's and I will be doing the most challenging cross-country ski race in Sweden at the end of February (90 km in one day!). Both of these efforts are way beyond anything we have ever done before and we appreciate any donation to help us reach our target.

Footsteps is a small charity, run entirely by volunteers and they have completed an amazing range of projects over the last few years. Have a look at their website www.footstepsuk.org .  THANK YOU for your support!
