Assist is a Sheffield charity which helps destitute asylum seekers by providing accommodation, advice and other support to those in most need or distress. In the face of growing government cuts and public hostility towards asylum seekers, they help over 200 cases a year, with just 3.5 full time staff. They're reliant on donations and a network of over 100 volunteers. We've hosted two of their clients so far.
