Story
As you all know I am not exactly Miss Olympian 2014 so this, though it might seem like a walk in the park to most of you, will be a big deal for me (unless I give up running half way through...then it probably quite literally will turn into a walk in the park.... But I do fully intend to sprint/jog cycle my way through as best possible.)
In order to mask my ineptitude I am leaning on the crutch of wearing a 'time restricting' outfit to blame on my inevitably poor time. We will be racing as Disney princesses- Rose will be resplendent as Snow White and me naturally Cinderella. Complete with false lashes and full make up, the more it runs down our face, the more hilarity. Let's hope it rains too.
Anyway....why are we doing this? Well, I am lucky enough to still have my Grandma with us today- a fighting fit breast cancer survivor in her mid 80s. However not all of us are so fortunate and my best friend and partner in racing crime Rose sadly lost her grandpa earlier in the year. For our grandparents and the countless courageous patients I see on a daily basis- affected by all types of cancer- we are doing this for you guys!!
