Sponsor Steph in the Royal Park's Half Marathon for Cancer Research UK

Royal Parks Half Marathon 2025 · 12 October 2025 · Start fundraising for this event
This year alone, my Mum, Sister and Nan have all been diagnosed with a different type of cancer which has understandably been heartbreaking and unbelievably hard.
As well as this, my Nan Kerrigan sadly passed away due to cancer in 2023, and I have had several friends fight (and survive) cancer and sadly lost a friend due to cancer.
It seems inevitable that another close friend or family member will be diagnosed sometime soon, so I want to raise as much as I can for Cancer Research UK for further research into treatment and a cure.
I will be running the London Royal Parks Half Marathon in October for Cancer Research UK. Anyone who knew me when I ran this same half marathon in 2019 knows how hard I found it, how much I complained non stop, and promised I would never ever do one again. However, if all of these amazing, strong, superhero ladies can receive a cancer diagnosis and go through the suffering of treatment, pain and endless hospital appointments, then I can definitely run 21km, even if I think I can’t (but I will complain the whole time).
If you can, any donation will make a massive difference. I am sure that most people have some sort of a connection to someone with cancer, as it now affects 1 in 2 people which is a crazy statistic.
Thank you so much!
