We did it!

You will be pleased to know that I completed the first Brighton Marathon yesterday in a time of 4 hours 18 minutes (and 57 seconds to be precise) and I can remember every painfull minute of it!

Actually it was a great event, well organised and a pleasure to take part in, the sun shone and the crowd cheered. I very much appreciated the support from all those who made it to the event, this really helped spur me on.

I must say a big THANK YOU to all of you for all your generosity and support, with particular mention to our local hero Vinod of Brightnews who managed our local donations. The final amount raised will be well over £1,500 with gift aid and additional donations, this is a fantastic result so well done everyone!
