On the 1st Sept '22 my incredible wife Helen was diagnosed with breast cancer. It was an incredible shock and reality check that 1 in 3 females and 1 in 2 males will experience a form of cancer in their lifetime. 

Helen has gone through 21 weeks of chemo which will be followed by surgery and radiotherapy. Thanks to the incredible work of the NHS we hope Helen will make a full recovery. I am raising money for this amazing charity because thanks to their incredible work this horrendous illness can now be treated and allow cancer patients to recover from the challenge of this life changing diagnosis.  They not only offer support to breast cancer patients through their 'Someone Like Me' and 'Moving Forward' service but they also campaign for screening programmes and fund vital research.
