Bridget was initially cared for at Basingstoke Hospital, where they specialise in treating the very rare cancer that she had. People are often in hospital for quite some time after their operation and Bridget was there for over a month. We stayed in some flats that are reserved for the families of people with Bridget's condition, which are free to use and are run with support of charitable donations. The flat meant I could be with Bridget any hour of the day all month and we'd like to support their running costs so that other families can benefit as much as we did.
