Story

We are a group of friends from the U.K. Travel Industry, getting together to raise money for charity.

In the past we have climbed Kilimanjaro, Machu Picchu and to Everest Base Camp.  Now it’s the steamy jungles of Northern Columbia in South America, where we are undertaking a trek to La Ciudad Perdida - The Lost City, located in the high mountains to the south of Santa Marta, Colombia.

This is an arduous trek in high altitudes, with high temperatures, mountains, and rivers in wild countryside. It’s a maximum difficulty trek.  No one is going to sponsor us for a walk in the Park!  During the trip we will be making a three minute movie to show our sponsors when we get home.

We were inspired to do this journey when we all met during the Institute of Travel and Tourism Conference in Istanbul in June 2022.

Thanks for considering sponsoring us.  Every penny we raise will go to the charities.  We are all paying our own way for the whole trip to South America and back.  We are grateful to G - Adventures for giving our group special rates for the trip as their contribution to our cause.   Thanks Brian!
