Story
I’m very new to running but it has helped me on so many levels helping me to lose weight, eating more healthier as well as my mental well-being this will be my 3rd planned 10K run for charity this year.
I joined my local Park Run South Norwood Country Park (SNCP) last September and at first I struggled around the 5K course but I’ve kept going and now can do the course in sub 30.
I’ve come along way in running terms and it’s all down to family, friends & joining a running group Emancipated Run Crew who helped me to push my goals further and show me that they are achievable.
Running Run Gatwick and raising money for SASH charity is a fantastic way to help others and raise awareness of the hard work charities do also representing Gatwick Airport is a great achievement for me and shows how far I have come on my journey.
My workplace Gatwick Airport will match whatever I raise up to £250 too, which is fantastic for the charity.
