I have been accepted to take part in the EMMS Cycle Malawi ride and to cycle around 400km through Malavwi, travelling from Lilongwe to Livingstonia, in the North of the country, in aid of palliative care projects run by EMMS in Northern Malawi.

I will travel through land associated with Dr David Livingstone, and other Christian missionary doctors and explorers, much of it is off-road and including some challenging hills on the way.

The Malawi Bike Ride is organised by EMMS International to support their work of medical mission in Malawi.  The beneficiary of the bike ride will be the David Gordon Memorial Hospital in Livingstonia, and otehr hospital projects in the north of the country, where EMMS is working in partnership.
