Hi, thanks for visiting my JustGiving page. My name is Steve. 

On 25/26th June 2022, I will be riding to each national rugby stadium, nearly 1000 miles, within 24hrs. My journey will be in memory of Rob Golding, Amy's fiance, who sadly passed away in February 2021 from Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome (SADS). We hope our event will raise both money and awareness of SADS, an often undiagnosed medical condition, as well as spreading the word about the one man wonder that was Rob!

Riding from Leeds to Murrayfield (Scotland Rugby ground), The Principality Stadium (Wales Rugby ground) and Twickenham (England rugby ground), I will be collecting pennant flags for each nation, before heading to Andover Rugby club where they will be placed at Rob's memorial statue. 

Rob was an avid rugby fan throughout his life, both in playing (local and York University team) and watching from the stalls. Nothing made him happier and he was lucky enough to form many friendships and memories through his love for the game. Andover Rugby Club is a special place not only for the home of Rob's memorial statue, but also as his childhood rugby team where both he and brother (Chris) played. Dad, Howard, even joined in as referee when called upon by the match organisers! I hope to pay my respects to the man himself by taking a piece of Rugby to him. 

I was fortunate enough to find Amy and the amazing woman that she is. I feel proud not only to have met her but to carry Rob's memory on through us both.
