Steve Ennis and his friend Mark Stancer are planning to Kayak the length of the River Avon from Shakespeare's Theatre in Stratford Upon Avon to Tewkesbury on May 4th 2019.

The journey is just over 40 miles and navigates through 17 locks. We will set off at 6.00am and hope to finish on the same day in a single journey.

Our goal is to raise £1000 for Pendleside Hospice in memory of Steve's aunt, Monica Atherton and brother, Michael Ennis who were both cared for by the hospice.
