Another Big Thank-you to MNDA Birmingham's Roger Leek and John O' Gorman, (I think we have a Will Hay convert in John) for their Continued support for the events and turning up To rattle the can's and buckets for the collection which this year raised £136.34

"Watching the Will Hay films takes me to a place far away where I can forget that I have MND. The films are so far ahead of their time and the comic timing and cast could never be bettered which is why comics of today I am sure that take great example from films such as oh Mr Porter and ask a policeman?

On an evening in Chepstow after a few beers and ciders we spoke well into the night about our admiration of these classic films. Steve proposed the idea and I was amazed when the spark of a proposal ignited into this event which I urge all Will Hay fans to watch and support MND. I was diagnosed with MND in April but am fighting every phase of this disease with help from family and friends and events such as this means so much to me. I will be there whatever happens on that great day in December on what a great run into Christmas."

Regards

Dom
