Story
To honour the memory of my wonderful mother. Dorothy Ann Hewitt.
Dorothy lost her battle with dementia on the 3rd, December. 2014, surrounded by her family.
Dorothy was an amazing lady & had many exciting adventures during her too short a lifetime; she started fashion modelling while still in her teens in Jamaica, was also a Jamaica National swimming Champion, archaeologist, later on earning a living taking& completing commissions as a painter with several of her completed pieces hanging in Jamaica House. Dorothy loved to fish. She was also a wife, mother, sister and most importantly - friend to everyone that came to know her. She was also well known for her cooking. There was never an empty stomach if you went to Dorothy's.
Please donate as much/little as you can towards this very important cause, in the hope that we can get a cure or way of holding back the progress of this most terrible illness.
Too many of our loved ones have left us way to soon due to this illness. Together and with all the monies we can raise, we can play an important part to help many still with their loved ones.
