London Marathon 2022 · 2 October 2022 ·
Hello all! This will be my very first marathon. Exciting but scary at the same time! I've done 10ks and run half marathon distance but this is a brand new challenge for me one that's exciting and scary.
Being from London means alot to me and those that know me know it's always been a bit of a dream to run the London marathon taking in all those old famous sites and places.
I am running for the British heart foundation because it is a charity which means something to me and i shall be running for my dad and grandad.
Unfortunately i never met my grandad as he passed away before i was born. He Unfortunately collapsed due to his heart and never came home again at the age of 47.
My dad went into hospital at the start of covid in 2020 for a routine check on a cough and it led to him being kept in for an emergency triple heart bypass. Most likely saving his life. Scary but he's made a fantastic recovery and now is fitter then ever! But it shows me how vital heart research is and also how vital it is to raise funds for such an amazing cause! It can be life saving!
Thanks for visiting my page. And I'd be so grateful for your support. The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist.
So please donate and help me raise my goal of 2,500. I thank each and everyone of you for the support and i will be updating my progress as i take the journey through training through to the marathon.
Thank you ❤
