Peak District Ultra Challenge 2023 · 8 July 2023 to 9 July 2023 ·

Francis House supports more than 600 families of children, teenagers and young adults with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions. We need over £4.8 million in charitable donations each year to continue to provide our services. Thank you for your support.

Story

We are completing the Peak District Ultra Challenge to raise funds for the amazing Children's hospice Francis House

Francis House is based in Didsbury, Manchester. They provide respite and end of life care for children and young people with life limiting illnesses and the necessary support and short term care for their families.  It costs £4.7m each year to keep Francis House open and we’re keen to support as much as possible.

As you know this will be a huge challenge for me (Stephen) being a type one diabetic and made even harder by doing it with the relentless, over excited Johnny de Mouilpied.

52kms is no walk in the park, but we are determined to do this and make a real difference for the children and their families who need such vital care.

Thanks all and watch out for videos and posts throughout the hike and our training walks!
