Story
I'm joining thousands of people donning their walking boots to make a difference to children and young people this autumn.
I’m doing my thing and raising money for BBC Children in Need by taking part in the Countryfile Ramble.
You can support me by donating through this webpage. Your sponsorship will make a real difference to the lives of disadvantaged children and young people in areas all across the UK.
A like goes a long way too, and if you wouldn’t mind sharing my page with friends and family that’d be doubly helpful.
Thank you for stopping by and thank you for your support.
THE WALK...
BRING A PACKED LUNCH IF YOU ARE COMING!!!
I'm leading a 10 mile (or just over) walk from Partridge Green, West Sussex on Sunday 29 September 2019.
This will be in conjunction with the walks programme of Ramblers Group Sussex Young Walkers (SYW), see https://www.sussex-young-walkers.org.uk/walks-programme/. You do not need to be a member of this group or Ramblers to join us on this event.
Please use my contact details on the SYW webpage to let me know you are coming along.
If you wish to come please meet 10:30am at the car park of the village hall in Partridge Green, West Sussex, on Village Hall Lane. Car park is sign posted from High Street. Free parking. RH13 8HX is the nearest post code. Grid reference: TQ 191 193.
Approximately 10 and a half mile walk.
Bring your own picnic food/sandwiches/refreshments to eat at Cowfold after 7 miles. Bring plenty of water.
Flat. Plenty of open grassy fields, some woodland, a bit of lane walking, views of St Hugh's monastery (active), and a little of the River Adur.
If you are coming on the walk, or if you would like to sponsor me or someone else that is walking, it would be great it you could donate to this with whatever money you can.
Please make a donation if you are coming on the walk.
I'm hoping to get £1 for each mile. I've started this off with a £10 donation myself.
See you all there.
Thank you.
Stephen
