Reading Half Marathon 2012 · 1 April 2012 ·

Each week at least twelve young people in the UK die suddenly as a result of undiagnosed heart conditions. At Cardiac Risk In the Young we aim to save young lives & to help those affected by the sudden cardiac death. We do this by providing support, information & screening those affected.

Story

This is a page to donate to Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) in memory of Alex Watley who sadly passed away on 30/12/11. A true gentlemen who will be missed by all.

Stephen Mills, Ashley Thorne and Matt Carter ultimately aim to take part in the london marathon in 2013, building our training with a variety of different half marathons and progressing onto the full distance, beginning with the reading half marathon this April. We are hoping to cover 2012km in his period to mark the olympics and to raise as much money as possible.
