Thanks for taking the time to visit and taking an interest in us running ourselves crazy during 2012 in the name of charity and our P-Middies.
What started off as entering the 2012 Bath 1/2 has become a four cities challenge.
Having added the Berlin marathon and Birmingham 1/2, it seemed only right top prove that we can run races in cities other than those beginning with the letter 'B'. So, the Manchester 10k completes the 58.6 miles we'll cover, running like gazelles. The target is to raise £1,000.00 for the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital Charity. Please help us to meet and beat the target.
Raising money for the Children's Hospital is part of NLP's commitment to raise £50,000 for charity in 2012, which is the 50th year of trading for the leading planning, design and economics consultancy in the UK.
The Children's Hospital charity amongst many things is involved in raising money for treatment, care and research. In raising money for state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, the charity is ensuring that kids attending the Children's Hospital receive the best treatment possible. As important is the need to raise money for research into new preventative medicine and treatments, to ensure that fewer kids are sick in the future and those that are sick get better quickly.
The Royal Manchester Children's Hospital provides specialist healthcare services for children and young people throughout the North West, as well as nationally and internationally. The hospital sees 185,000 patient visits each year across a range of specialities including oncology, haematology, bone marrow transplant, burns, genetics and orthopaedics.
Please support the Morgan-Hylands and, more importantly, the Children's Hospital.
