Hello all,

So, whats this all about then?

Well, an 'old' friend of mine was diagnosed with cancer a few years back but thanks to the on-going advances in treatment was able to fight the disease. In order that further developments in early diagnosis and treatments can continue to take place we decided to help with fund raising for the Cancer Research UK charity.

Like a lot of these things, the idea of doing a Coast to Coast bike ride seemed a good idea when we sat in our local coffee shop!

The plan is to ride the 150 miles (across the Lake district and the Pennines, ouch) over 3 days. Now this may not seem that arduous a challenge but for a mid 40's couch potato its's a super human feat. (Well o.k maybe not super human but you get the idea)

Now all that's needed is for you guys to dig deep and help make this a worth while endeavour.
