My Sight Nottinghamshire (Formerly Nottinghamshire Royal Society for the Blind /NRSB) is a local charity which exists to ensure people living with sight loss across Nottinghamshire have access to the same life opportunities as everyone else.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

My Auntie Linda suffered a major stroke which left her visually impaired.  Every Thursday (pre lockdown) she attends the blind club ran by My Sight to meet other people for coffee, support and a chat.  Without this charity, others like Linda would have limited support and feel even more isolated.

My Sight Nottinghamshire is a local charity which promotes greater independence for visually impaired people of all ages by providing emotional support, practical advice, information and training together with a huge range of adapted leisure activities, helping local visually impaired people to live life to the full.

To celebrate the charity's 175 years, I am hoping to raise at least £175.  We’re all under strain right now but if you’re visually impaired, it's especially hard being at home all the time, relying on technology to stay connected with family and friends and to do basic things like food shopping and watching TV.  Please help me to make a difference to their lives.
