Story
Hello everyone!
I've decided to run a half marathon to raise money for the MS Society, and I'm hoping you can help me make a difference. This cause is close to my heart because my aunty was diagnosed with MS nine years ago. I'm running for her and all those living with MS. The money raised will go straight to the MS Society, who are doing amazing work for people like my aunty - from providing support, to driving pioneering research. Your backing is greatly appreciated, and no contribution is too small (or too big!).
Thank you!
"Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an unpredictable condition that affects your brain and spinal cord. In MS, the coating that protects your nerves (myelin) is damaged. This causes a range of symptoms like blurred vision and problems with how we move, think and feel.More than 130,000 people in the UK have MS. Once diagnosed, MS stays with you for life, but treatments and specialists can help you to manage the condition and its symptoms. The MS Society is here to help everyone live well with MS.Every year they reach thousands of people with help and support through their MS Helpline and local groups. They campaign on the issues that matter most to the MS community. And they invest in ground-breaking research to stop MS in its tracks.Together, we are strong enough to stop MS."
