Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. As most of you will know I was lucky enough to have a Kidney transplant in 2010. This allows me to live the healthy life I live today , my illness was a traumatic period in my life , and recovery from a organ transplant is tough time .I am doing this ride to help raise funds for the unit and help young people who are either in kidney failure , or have had a kidney transplant , at time of my transplant I was in my late 40s and it was tough , for young people this illness is even harder. I will attempt to do the Argus this year in around 4 hours for the 109 kilometres around the cape of south Africa  on the 6th of March . I will be funding the trip myself so all funds raised will go to the oxford kidney trust fund . Thanks for reading my page and lastly remember organ transplants save lives #giftoflife
